Amazie – Lethbridge Humane Society
Lethbridge Humane society produced from photographs they had supplied of animals within the shelter....
This is the ninth image produced for Mother’s day and a birthday of rescued / abandoned animals. This like some other images were amalgamated into two larger images that were two ft by three ft and eventually individually printed for the Humane Society’s Bow Wow Ball.
This is what the client had to say: “During the time that I was contracting for Greyhound Courier, I came upon Chelsea. This tiny 12 to 14 week old black Lab and Husky mix pup had been abandoned outside the downtown Winnipeg Greyhound bus terminal. My first reaction was anger at whoever could do that to a beautiful little puppy as she was and I was intent on giving her a good home, though at first it was not necessarily going to be my home as Sultan was by now very much the dominant canine.
Chelsea became a great couch potato and bedhog part of this family, but was also the most loyal dog I have ever had. Not once did she ever attempt to run away from home or even wander out of the yard alone.”
